What a brand actually needs from Meta to run WhatsApp Business API in India, and what is billed separately from the Autom8 plan.
The WhatsApp Business API in India runs on a number you control, a Meta Business account, and a display name Meta approves. Order updates such as paid, packed, and shipped are utility templates. Meta has to approve them before they send.
As of 1 October 2026, Meta’s India list rate used on this site is ₹0.115 per delivered utility message and ₹0.8631 per delivered marketing message, before GST. The first 1,000 service messages on a number each month are free. Check Meta’s own rate card before you budget. The figures move.
Autom8 adds nothing to that rate. Meta bills it to you on your own WhatsApp Business account. Our 14-day refund covers the plan fee. Meta’s charges are billed by Meta, so they sit outside it.
